On behalf
of Weatherbug I would like to extend a special invitation to your
school to join our extensive weather station network and become
an active member of the Weatherbug Achieve education community.
Weatherbug
currently has over 8,000 weather stations and over 1,000 cameras
located at schools nationwide. As a Weatherbug Achieve member, your
entire school has unlimited access to our main data center and can
study 27 parameters of nationwide weather data as it happens. Snow
storms in Chicago, hurricanes in Florida, torrential rain in California.
Our exclusive time lapse technology enables your students to see
how the sky evolves as data elements combine and change. Weatherbug
Achieve includes over 130 dynamic lesson plans for grades K-12 and
is an outstanding compliment to your school's existing Science,
Math, and Geography curriculum. Specific New Hampshire Curriculum
Framework standards addressed by Weatherbug Achieve include: Science
as Inquiry, Science Technology and Society, Earth/Space Science,
and Unifying Themes and Concepts.
We have
just added new student learning modules with built in quizzes that
get emailed to the teacher when completed. It has never been easier
to assess student progress. I would enjoy the opportunity to walk
you through the system over the phone so you can see for yourself
the potential of these new lessons and nationwide live data instruction.
